Terence on the left of his father
Prosecutors filed first-manslaughter charges against the white police officer, Betty Shelby who fatally shot an unarmed 40-year-old Terence Crutcher on Sept. 16. Dashcam and aerial footage of the shooting showed Crutcher walking away from Shelby with his arms in the air. As he laid dying and blood spattered on the window of a closed car door, Betty along with other officers huddled together plotting their story.
Shelby, was on her was to a domestic violence call when she saw Crutcher's disabled vehicle in the middle of the street. Against protocol, Shelby never activated her patrol car's dashboard camera, so no footage exists of what first happened between the two before other officers arrived.
The police footage shows Crutcher approaching the driver's side of the SUV, then more officers walk up and Crutcher appears to lower his hands and place them on the vehicle. A man inside a police helicopter overhead says: "That looks like a bad dude, too. Probably on something."
A clear case of another black life treated as if it is worthless or a non-factor. Another black man is dead for harming no one and another terrorist is apprehended, and under medical care after harming many. The nonsense continues.
