Welp, it's a wrap for Survivor’s Remorse. The season will end on October 15, with the series finale titled “Answers and Questions. I kinda knew it after they moved them from airing after Power. I also blame 50 Cent for telling everyone to disconnect Starz after Power wrapped up.
Most people in the Power group said they would oblige, but there were others like me liked the show and hung in there for the series. I really liked it. Ron Reaco was favorite and has always been a pleasure to watch. He will recover just fine, they all will. They were a great cast and I am sorry to see them go.
Deadline reports Starz President and CEO Chris Albrecht said:
“We have been fortunate to work with incredible talents like Mike O’Malley, the executive producers and our cast on this very special show for four seasons. While this may be the end of the Calloways’ story, we do believe that the themes Survivor’s Remorse confronted over the seasons, through a unique mix of humor and sober observation, will be appreciated for the insightful, heartfelt way they were addressed. We are proud of the show.”
Yes, indeed. They tackled a lot provocative ideologies with deep insight. From natural hair, religion and sexuality, various racial divides, family, and relationships, just to name a few. I hope they go out with a bang!!
